Registrar’s Report A.G.M. November 1999

After the sad passing of Les Lynn I put myself forward as acting registrar. This is therefor my first annual report, and as such will not be very long – as yet I have had very little to do. No doubt this will change when it comes to renewals time.

One task that I have done is look at updating the team numbers. This started with me asking at an N.E.C. meeting, how the team number of the membership number was made up. The first part was the region code by the D.T.I., while the second part was a sub-region code. It was then decided at the N.E.C. meeting that this system should be brought up to date. To do this, I have taken off the old region code, and replaced it with the new R.A. region codes, which also match up fairly well with our own Regional Laision Officer structure. It was also decided that the sub-region code be left alone so that the change was not too drastic. The table below shows the current and proposed teams number structures.
